One of my favorite writers is Phyllis A. Whitney. I think I’ve read nearly all of her books. I love the mystery, the romance, and trying to figure out if the person we think is the good guy is really not good after all.
At one time I had a few shelves filled with her books. When we moved, I gave many of them away and have regretted it ever since. I miss being able to pick one up and reread it any time I want. I am not a big rereader of books, but hers are the big exception.
Here are a few of my favorites:

I read tons of her books when I was a teenager. Loved them! But I doubt I even got close to reading them all. It would be fun to try them again.
Hi Suey. Thanks for commenting! I’m glad to find others who liked her writing as well. She certainly wrote a lot of books.
My Mom actually introduced me to Phyllis Whitney at a library booksale. I bought a few and loved each one while I read them. However, I seemed to have to plow through the last few that I purchased this past fall. I suppose to me, Ms. Whitney’s books are good reads only when I’m in a certain book mood.
I vaguely remember reading and enjoying some of her books in the past–might have to look into them again!
I linked to you on my Weekly Geeks post today

I have read a few of her books – I unfortunately never took the time to delve more into her backgroud…
I did hear she had died though – thank you for the info…
